10:10 - 11:10am First Concurrent Session: 

We will have our Feature Author’s books available for purchase and an opportunity for book signing

A. Carol Salva, Author of “Boosting Achievement” - Strategies that Support Newcomers and Boost Achievement for ALL 

B. Lulu Buck, Author of “Sue’s Sky” - Social-Emotional learning and discourse about perspectives, personal experiences, and cultural diversity. Lesson plans shared. 

C. Amy King, WIDA Trainer - Review of Key Components in the Updated WIDA Framework

11:10 - 11:45am Lunch Break: Lunch Catering by UCCS sponsored by RISEPD and CoTESOL
