Why Have Others Joined CoTESOL?

CoTESOL is the well of fresh ideas and support that unites us professionally here in Colorado. Members rely on this network of colleagues to stay informed of new trends and opportunities that are too numerous to explore by themselves. Being involved in CoTESOL can be a tremendous networking opportunity. You can meet people from all over the state, find distant colleagues interested in the same things you're interested in, and use these connections to learn and to help others learn. The people of CoTESOL are a great professional resource.  Click here to learn more about membership benefits.

When Does CoTESOL Meet?

An annual two-day Fall Convention features nationally recognized speakers, presentations by teachers, "hands-on" small group sessions, exhibits of new publications, awards presentations, and a business meeting. This convention is usually held in November.

The Special Interest Groups organize forums to meet the special interests and needs of members. These forums are usually held in conjunction with the Fall Convention or at other times throughout the year.

The CoTESOL Executive Board meets six times a year to set directions, plan activities, and discuss matters pertinent to ESL in the state.  Click here to get involved in the Board.

How Does CoTESOL Support Outstanding Performance?

To honor outstanding contributions to the field, CoTESOL presents a number of awards and scholarships to members each year.
